WANG Zhigang, CEO
Senior
agronomist. He graduated from Shandong
Construction Engineering College
in June 1985. From June 1985 to
March 1991, he worked for the Laizhou
Jinchengzhen Construction Company
as mapper, budgeter, technician
and director of technical department,
and head of construction team. He
acted as vice manager of the Laizhou
Huanxing Seed Ltd. from April 1991
to June 1997. In July 1977, he was
appointed as head of the Laizhou
Gardening Field. Since 1999, he
worked as operating center manager,
operating company vice general manager
and production and marketing company
general manager of the Shandong
Yuanzhou Seed Inc.
ZHANG Chunman, CFO
Mr. Zhang graduated from Institute
of the Supply and Marketing in Heilongjiang
Province, with distinction of the
major in Commercial Finance and
Industrial Accounting in 1981. Later
in the same year, he was selected
to be a financial accountant in
Youth Company, which was a subcommittee
of the Heilongjiang Province Supply
and Marketing Committee. In these
there years, Zhang did excellent
work in both accounting and auditing.
From March 1984, Zhang began to
work as the Senior Manager and Finance
Director in the Financial Department
of the Agriculture Material Company
in Heilongjiang Province. As the
leader, Zhang organized good team
work and achieved many rewards from
the head office. In August 1984,
Zhang was transferred to a foreign
trade company of the Supply and
Marketing Committee. During the
9 years work, Zhang promoted to
be the financial manager and CFO
in subsidiary in Poland. And that
was a useful experience for Zhang
to be proficient of international
accounting. In March 2003, Mr. Zhang
worked as the CFO and Director in
Lingfei Medicine Limited in Harbin.
WANG Zhicheng, Director
He graduated from Shandong Construction
Engineering College in June 1985.
From June 1985 to March 1991, he
worked for the Laizhou Jinchengzhen
Construction Company as mapper,
budgeter, technician and director
of technical department, and head
of construction team. He acted as
vice manager of the Laizhou Huanxing
Seed Ltd. from April 1991 to June
1997. In July 1977, he was appointed
as head of the Laizhou Gardening
Field. Since 1999, he worked as
operating center manager, operating
company vice general manager and
production and marketing company
general manager of the Shandong
Yuanzhou Seed Inc.
JIANG Daoqi, Director
Mr. Jiang held bachelor degree of
mathematics in Anhui Normal University
in 1964. He worked as project director
and senior engineer in National
Development and Reform Commission
from 1978 to 1990, and worked as
director in Information Center Legislative
Affairs Office of the State Council
P.R. China.
CHAN Chi Ming, Director
A specialist in Chinese law and
China affairs, Mr. Chan is an expert
in networking, Internet technology,
database technology and management
of technical resources. Mr. Chan
holds a Master of Law degree from
Lancaster University, the United
Kingdom, a Master of Philosophy
degree in Physics and Bachelor Degree
in Physics both from the Chinese
University of Hong Kong.
Management Team of Operating Subsidiary
Company
ZHANG Liming,
head of Breed Center, was born in
September 1962. He was educated
in a technical secondary school
and has a title of agronomist. He
is responsible for new breed appraisal
and trading of breed rights. He
started his career since October
1981, and worked as office chief
and vice director of the Laizhou
Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
LI Junxian, agronomist,
was born in March 1944. He is in
charge of R&D of wheat and vegetable
breeds. He started his career in
1976, and worked as vice director
of the former Laizhou Academy of
Agricultural Sciences. He won the
Laizhou First Award of Scientific
& Technological Progress in
1994, the Yantai First Award of
Scientific & Technological Progress
in 1996 and the Shandong Second
Award of Sciences & Technological
Progress in 1997 for the Laizhou
No. 953, a new breed of wheat he
cultivated. He won the Shandong
and Yantai Award of High Output
in 1998, the First Award of Industrialized
Development Project for Fine Seed
issued by Shandong Bureau of Agriculture
in 2000 for the Laizhou No. 137,
a new wheat breed he cultivated
in 1998. He is one of the famous
experts in wheat breeding in China.
SONG Yongzhen,
general manager assistant, was born
in March 1957. Graduating from a
junior college, he, as an agronomist,
assists the general manager with
overall work planning of Zhouyuan
Seed. He started his career in 1980,
and worked as vice chief of Development
Department and manager of Fine Breed
Development Company of the Lanzhou
Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
He is a senior professional executive
in seed.
LIN Qi, chief
of Administration Center, was born
in July 1957. With an education
background in a junior college,
he is in charge of administration.
He started his career in May 1972,
and later worked as Political Work
chief and office chief of the Laizhou
Seed Group Corporation, board director
of the Laizhou Huaxing Seed &
Seedling Ltd., general manager assistant
and vice general manager of the
Laizhou Yongzhou Seed Ltd., vice
general manager of the Laizhou Huiyuan
Seed Ltd., and vice general manager
of the Shandong Zhouyuan Seed Inc.
LU Guang, chief
of Processing & Testing Center,
was born in 1971. Graduating from
a junior college, he worked at the
Laizhou Seed Group Corporation from
June 1990to 2000 as storekeeper,
logistics worker, warehousing and
transport director. He has been
appraised by the company as one
of the workers who made superior
achievements for many years, and
has been entitled for studies and
business trainings in multiple occasions.
From 1991 to 1994, he studied agronomy
at Shandong Agriculture Radio &
TV School. In 1995, he got his new
certificate for international seed
inspector after finishing a New
International Seed Training Program
held by the Shandong Bureau of Agriculture.
He was promoted to agronomist in
1999, and started to work as vice
general manager of the Laizhou Yongzhou
Seed Ltd. in 2000, being in charge
of warehousing, transport, processing
and logistics. In October 2001,
he was appointed as vice general
manager of the Laizhou Huiyuan Seed
Ltd., and started to work as director
of Processing & Testing Center
of the Shandong Zhouyuan Seed Ltd.
from December 2002, being in charge
of storage, processing, packaging
and transport of seed.
MAN Xiyu, dean
of the Institute of Seed Gene, was
born in September 1971. As a senior
agronomist, he is in charge of corn
breeding based on scientific methods.
He started his career in March 1990,
and has been involved in the field
for 12 years, and has successfully
cultivated six important self-copulation
lines of breeds, including ZY8110£¬
ZY1985 and ZY1981. He is an up-and-coming
youngster in domestic corn breeding.
WANG Shu¡¯an, was
born in 1929. He graduated as postgraduate
from Agronomist Department of Beijing
University of Agriculture in 1965.
He taught at University of Agriculture
of China from 1956 to 2000, and
his positions there included tutor,
instructor, dean and doctor mentor.
He has been long involved in technological
and theoretical studies of crop
planting and cultivation. He is
a frequent award winner, including
each of the Special, Second and
Third Awards of National Scientific
& Technological Progress, each
of the First and Second Awards of
Scientific & Technological Progress
of the Ministry of Agriculture,
the First Award of State Council
Scientific & Technological Progress,
and the Award of Chinese Agriculture
Sciences & Technologies in 1997.
As chief wheat advisor of the Ministry
of Agriculture, he published two
books, 60 academic papers.
TONG Pingya, was
born in December 1933. He is a researcher
of the Crop Research Institute of
China Academy of Agriculture Sciences,
and one of famous corn experts in
China.
